Scenario 1: Cutting a Circle
Select a piece of cardboard of appropriate size. First, feed the cardboard into the cutter head. Next, place the positioning ruler and vernier scale, then adjust the vernier scale to the desired dimension. Press the vernier scale firmly with one hand to make its bottom pierce the cardboard, then push the cardboard along the cutting direction with your other hand to cut it into a circle.
Scenario 2: Cutting a Straight Line
Select a piece of cardboard of appropriate size. First, position the fence ruler properly, then place the cardboard against the fence ruler. Next, lock the vernier scale on the positioning ruler onto the fence ruler. Hold the positioning ruler tightly with one hand and push the cardboard with the other to finish the cutting.
Scenario 3: Cutting an Inner Circle
Preparation for Inner Circle Cutting: Take out the hole cutter and separate its cap from the cone. Press the cone against the cardboard to make its blade and tip pierce through the cardboard. Then, use your other hand to cover the blade with the hole cutter cap, rotate and press down the cap at the same time. Once you confirm the cardboard is fully pierced, remove the cap.
Inner Circle Cutting: Place the cardboard on the machine, pass the cutter head through the circular hole, and push the cardboard along the cutting direction by hand to complete the cutting.
Scenario 4: Scoring a Straight Line
Lay the cardboard flat on a smooth surface. Use the non-protruding side of the fence ruler as a guide. Hold the fence ruler firmly with one hand, and grip the scoring tool with the other. Slide the tool along the edge of the ruler to score the cardboard and create a crease. Then fold the cardboard along the scored crease.
